The Moonlit Meadow

This refreshing concoction is bursting with summer flavors and a touch of mystical charm.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Sparkling White Grape Juice

  • 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

  • 1/2 oz Lavender Simple Syrup (recipe below)

  • Handful of Fresh Raspberries

  • Sprig of Fresh Rosemary

  • Edible Flowers (optional)

Lavender Simple Syrup (makes about 1 cup):

  • 1 cup Water

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

  • 1/4 cup Dried Lavender Flowers

Instructions:

  1. Make the Lavender Simple Syrup (optional, but adds a lovely touch):

In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, and lavender.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves and the mixture simmers.

Remove from heat and let steep for 30 minutes.

Strain out lavender flowers before using.

Simple syrup can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

  2. In a shaker, muddle the raspberries gently to release their juices.

  3. Add white grape juice, lime juice, and lavender simple syrup (if using).

  4. Fill shaker with ice and shake well.

  5. Strain into a glass filled with fresh ice.

  6. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a sprinkle of edible flowers (optional) for a touch of whimsy.

Why it's witchy:

  • Lavender: Associated with calmness, peace, and purification.

  • Rosemary: Represents remembrance, protection, and good health.

  • Raspberries: Linked to love, passion, and creativity.

Tips:

  • Adjust the amount of simple syrup to your taste preference.

  • You can substitute the white grape juice with sparkling apple cider for a different flavor profile.

  • Freeze some raspberries beforehand to create a slushy effect in the drink.

  • Have fun with the garnish! Edible pansies, violets, or lavender flowers add a magical touch.
